Strategic Communications Advisor & Managing Director at The Blueshirt Group
As a strategic communications executive with more than 20 years in the technology industry, Kim is a well-connected, respected and trusted advisor. She works with a broad spectrum of high-growth companies to shape and articulate their narrative so that journalists and influencers across the business, financial and trade media take note. She has deep expertise in advising companies on their path to public markets, including IPOs, direct listings and SPACs. Her career spans from the early dot.com days working with start-ups like CitySearch and Stamps.com and the industry giants HP, Dell and Merrill Lynch to today’s tech leaders, including Coupa, Asana, Zscaler and many others. Venture capital and private equity firms are always in the mix. Kim is an active volunteer in her daughters’ schools, where she takes on leadership roles, development and fundraising efforts, and Board positions. In her community, she supports and lends her skills and expertise to non-profit organizations such as Parca and CrisisTextLine, and has co-founded a grassroots organization to help raise awareness around homelessness and food insecurity in San Francisco. She is a graduate of Miami University. She lives in San Mateo with her husband, three daughters, and golden retriever.
